
Dawn Schnake
AccountantDawn joined the staff of KCUR in August of 2017 as an Accountant.
She grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Oklahoma City University where she graduated with a Music and Business degree. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Business – Arts Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Before KCUR, she has worked for the Heart of America Council – Boy Scouts of America, the Kansas City Symphony, the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Aspen Music Festival.
She lives in Overland Park, KS with her husband John and teenage sons Andrew and Matthew. She rejuvenates by doing anything creative and usually spends her free time with a fanciful book. She loves to write, make music, and has great intentions of remodeling the house.
