Johnson County's only winter homeless shelter is already at capacity

A 'Tiny Town' in Spring Hill hopes to connect kids in Kansas City's sprawling suburbs
Dale and JoAnn Romano recently opened Nana's Tiny Town on Main Street in downtown Spring Hill, offering a hands-on children's play center that's designed to look like its own, child-sized main street. It's next door to their other store, the nostalgic ice cream parlor Pop's Sweet Shop.

A Kansas City teen and his brother are opening a vintage clothing store on the Westside
Reade Rex, a 17-year-old senior at Olathe Northwest High School, has been buying and selling vintage clothing online and in pop-up markets for about two years.
