Foreign ownership of U.S. farmland is still small but has increased, analysis shows
Foreign investors owned about 46 million acres of U.S. farmland in 2023 — which is less than 4% of all American farmland, according to a recent report. The data comes as more states consider limiting foreign ownership of agricultural land.
Josh Hawley criticized over use of private jets for Missouri U.S. Senate campaign
The first-term Republican's re-election campaign spent more than $132,000 on chartered flights between mid-December and June 2024. Recently, Hawley has been hopping around Missouri for rallies with Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.
