Young love. Even before Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet, teenagers were searching for it and parents were dreading it.
On this Valentine's Day, psychologist Wes Crenshaw joins Steve Kraske for a discussion on youthful romance. They talk about the appropriate age to start dating, how to handle objections to a teen’s love interest and the best time to have THE TALK.
Should moms and dads use the same rules that were in play when they dated … or do different times call for different measures? Plus, as much as we’re concerned about our kids starting a relationship, how well prepared are we to support them when it ends?
