Andy Reid Says Chiefs Players Didn't Care About Broncos Score During Game

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Oakland Raiders Sunday, 23-17, to finish the season with 10 wins in a row and an 11-5 record.

But it wasn’t enough to overtake the Denver Broncos in the AFC West since they also won.

When the Chiefs players were on the field, the score of the Broncos game wasn’t shown on the scoreboard at Arrowhead Stadium. Chiefs coach Andy Reid claims they didn’t care.

“They wanna play. You put somebody in front of them. They go play,” said Reid.

But when the Chiefs went into the locker room for halftime, the score update appeared. Apparently, someone was concerned the Chiefs players would be distracted.

When the Chiefs finished their game, they still didn’t know if they won the division because the Broncos were still playing a close game. The one thing they did know was the Raiders went home thinking about next year while the Chiefs have their minds on next week.
