On Saturday, more than 10,000 runners will take to the streets in the annual Kansas City Marathon. It's not the only race happening this weekend, as Kansas Speedway hosts the Hollywood Casino 400. We discussed both races, the state of women's soccer, the Chiefs close loss on Sunday, and we heard breaking news about the Sprint Center as the site for the 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championship.

With just a few weeks until the midterms, Sen. McCaskill joined us in-studio to discuss her re-election campaign. The two-term senator pointed out policies where she and her opponent, Republican Josh Hawley differ, highlighting immigration, pre-existing conditions and maintaining civility in government. She also criticizes opposition ads being run against her.
