“Mary Poppins” (Touring Broadway stage musical based on Disney family film classic) at the Music Hall, 201 W. 13th, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8p.m. Saturday, 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets: $25 to $65

Kansas City Film Fest(Annual juried film festival with more than 100 local, regional, national and international films), Thursday through Sunday (featuring “We Are Superman: The Transformation of 31st and Troost”) at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 1400 Main. Tickets: $50 gold festival pass; $25 silver festival pass (good for three movie admissions) 

Bon Jovi: Because We Can Tour (Rock), 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sprint Center, 1407 Grand. Tickets: $17.50 to $137.50

Stephen Lynch(Musical stand-up comedy), 8 p.m. Saturday at the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah’s Casino, 1 Riverboat Drive, North Kansas City. Tickets: $35 to $60.50 (sold out; sometimes seats are released before the event)

Heart of America Chorus: 75 Years of Harmony (Kansas City chapter of Barbershop Harmony Society), 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Yardley Hall, Carlsen Center, Johnson County Community College, Overland Park. Tickets: $20 to $45
