In tornado's wake, focus turns to cleanup

KANSAS CITY – After the dust settled from this weekend's violent storms, thousands of families across Kansas, Missouri and Tenessee faced what remained in the paths of tornados. Hundreds of residents here returned from temporary overnight shelters to find their homes turned inside out. K-C-U-R's Matt Hackworth and Laura Spencer visited two northland neighborhoods that seemed to bear the brunt of the storm.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
