Missouri's Fifth District Congressional Candidate: Democrat Emanuel Cleaver

Kansas City, Missouri – Missouri's 5th district congressional race between Reverend Emanuel Cleaver and Jeanne Patterson has been a bitter, expensive battle. Former mayor and city councilman Emanuel Cleaver has not always been quick to respond to Patterson's accusations of ethical misconduct. Cleaver says he hadn't planned to run for office again, but felt compelled by a need to restore civility to public office. A week before the election, KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross catches up with Cleaver as he shifts his campaign into high gear.
