By Sylvia Maria Gross

Kansas City, Missouri – Kansas City third district residents go to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to recall councilwoman Saundra McFadden-Weaver. Four new candidates for her position will also appear on the ballot. If recalled, McFadden-Weaver will be the first council member to be stripped of office by recall in Kansas City history. KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross spoke to people inside and out of the third district about the implications of the election.
