Some Independence residents want seven schools to secede from the KC-MO school district. TV host Iyanla Vanzant warms up for UMKC's Black Women Leaders conference; hear also from conference chair Olivia Dorsey. Plus, local Latinos weigh in on immigration reform (Martha Ramirez and Carlos Rodriguez), and they don't all agree.
