Kansas City, MO – Each year, Kansas City pays to find out what its citizens think of it. This year, it got a bit of a good news. After several years of decline, there was a slight up tick in satisfaction with city services. But acting city auditor Gary White says Kansas City still doesn't stack up well compared to other places.

Gary White: However compared to other area communities and large US cities citizen satisfaction is at or near the bottom still for Kansas City.

Areas where at least fifty percent of residents were satisfied or very satisfied include emergency services, the airport, water utilities, and parks and recreation.
