Kansas City, MO – Last month, Kansas City blues fans lost one of their favorite performers, Annetta Washington, better known as Cotton Candy. The singer wrote many blues songs and poetry, and though she sang the blues, her personal motto was "I am too blessed to be depressed". Cotton Candy was known by fans and fellow musicians as a good friend and a strong supporter of the blues community. Listen as Cotton Candy and her band "So Many Men" performed in 2005.
