By Alex Smith

KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City's Asian American Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a discussion of a recent report detailing the status of Asian American businesses in the United States. The report, commissioned by President Bush, looks at all sorts of businesses, from professional services to restaurants. Commission chairman Rudy Pamintuan, and member Joe Melookaran were in town for the Chamber of Commerce discussion this week. KCUR's Alex Smith talked to Pamintuan and Melookaran, along with KU business school professor, Sanjay Mishra, about the commission's findings, and its implications for Asian American businesses in Kansas City.
