Kansas City, MO – The cost of building a light rail line In Kansas City just went up 140-million dollars.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture initially used the wrong account to try and settle a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against former Director Fred Ferrell.

Real estate owners in Kansas may have to pay higher property taxes next year. That's the word coming out of city and county governments who say they're witnessing a big drop-off in the assessed value of personal property owned by businesses.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment agrees with Sunflower Electric that the fight over two proposed coal plants does not belong in district court.

A Texas-based conservative group says Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline will speak at a July 28 rally for clergy and the public in Overland Park.

In sports, Team Texas has set a record time in the Missouri River 340 race. The six man team finished the 340 mile race in just over 36 hours.
