A U.S. Judge has sentenced the leader of a high profile mortage fraud scheme to 13 years in federal prison. Raymond Zwego led a real estate investment company that bought about sixty area homes and obtained nearly twenty million dollars in mortgages by using falsified documents and straw buyers. Barely two weeks remain before covers are closed on Missouri voting rolls. But registration is running high. Missouri's Student Loan Agency (MOHELA) has yet again fallen behind on its payments to the state, citing financial strains.
