Kansas City, MO – Managers of the downtown Power and Light district have agreed to hand over hiring and training of the entertainment district's bouncers to a new, independent company.

Kansas is currently without a transportation improvement plan, after recently wrapping up a 10-year project.

The Missouri Secretary of State's office is warning the public to beware of phone calls pitching oil and gas investments.

Missouri emergency management officials have created a statewide group to try and improve 911 coverage in the state.
