Kansas City, MO – Most of Missouri's major highways are in good shape, but keeping them that way may eventually become harder.

Missouri's environmental agency has completed a water quality study at the Lake of the Ozarks, triggered by the delayed reporting of E. coli test results.

Police say an unfounded report of a hostage situation in a building near Missouri's governor's mansion was prompted by a chain reaction started by someone calling an elevator phone.

Kansas Attorney General Steve Six has filed charges against several people accused of trying to steal winnings from the Kansas Lottery.
