Kansas City, MO – The top Democrat in the Kansas House says Democratic leadership could decide this week if they'll pursue an ethics complaint against the speaker of the House.

Voters in Gardner, Kansas will go to the polls tomorrow to decide whether to recall two of their five city council members.

State insurance regulators from both political parties say a key element of the Republican approach to overhauling health care would be bad for consumers.

A showdown is looming between Democrats and Republicans over Missouri Governor Jay Nixon's proposed budget, and particularly over his decision to base part of his proposal on $300 million from Washington that may or may not come.
