Kansas City, MO – More than 70 children were reported injured at day care centers in Kansas last year, and 10 died. Some critics say the cause is what they call lax inspection requirements.

Legislation passed this week by the Missouri House would remove obsolete laws from the state's books.

Last week's decision in favor of Overland Park's annexation of 8 square miles of land reflects the Tea Party's frustration with government. That's the feeling of some who've been involved in the controversy over the last couple of years.
