Kansas City, MO – The Kansas Department of Labor is reporting more job openings in the state.

The Kansas Department of Labor is slowly recovering from a massive backlog of unemployment claims that a state official blames on the U.S. Senate.

The Kansas Bioscience Authority has pledged more than 9-million dollars over the next five years to bring five prominent cancer researchers to the University of Kansas Cancer Center.

Some Kansas farmers and lawmakers say they are concerned about how a federal review of dust emissions might affect the family farm.
