KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The deadline for intended operators of Kansas City's embattled animal shelter to enter their proposals draws near, and animal welfare advocates amplified their requests for change.

A Missouri Senate committee has passed a massive economic development bill.

Two bills have been filed in the Missouri House regarding the use of the state's so-called Rainy Day fund.

The Kansas City Royals managed just two hits last night as they were shutout by the Oakland A's 7-0 in Oakland.
