  • Kansas City deployed extra police officers over the weekend, in response to a slew of homicides late Friday and Saturday. 

     

  • A series of town hall meetings aimed at finding ways to reduce childhood poverty in Kansas kicks off in Kansas City, Kansas today. 

     

  • Jackson County Executive, Mike Sanders, will likely be the next chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party. 

     

  • School officials have begun been meeting with concerned parents and others over the future of the district.
