Johnson County Works To Stop Spread Of Whooping Cough

Johnson County, Kansas is in the midst of a whooping cough outbreak. It's not as bad as in Washington State, where they’ve declared an epidemic of the disease, also known as pertussis.  But health workers and schools in the region have been taking extra steps to get a handle on the disease.  Find out more about what’s going on locally here.

Body Of Soldier Returned To Overland Park

For an Overland Park family and their friends, this Memorial Day was marked by the freshest of wounds.  More than 100 people solemnly greeted the body of Sergeant Michael Knapp when it arrived Monday at Kansas City International Airport.  Read more here.
