Johnson County Budget Keeps Property Taxes Steady

The Johnson County, Kan. Commission began work on a proposed budget for fiscal year 2013.  The initial spending plan totals nearly $811 million and holds the line on property taxes.  Find out more here.

Artists In Their Own Words: Kinetic Sculpture In Johnson County

Johnson County launched its one percent for art program in 2007. This means that one percent of the budget of a new major capital project is set aside for public art.
