Kansas City, MO – Violent crimes hurt more than just the individuals involved. Families of victims often go through their own trauma: navigating through the legal system, trying to cope with grief and looking for answers. A new program, based at the Mattie Rhodes Centers, will help Latinos to deal with the aftermath of violent crime. Among the community leaders pitching in to work on the Latino Advocacy Taskforce is Joe Arce. Arce, who is publisher of KC Hispanic News,, spoke to Sylvia Gross about this new campaign.
