SALINA, Ks. – The Kansas Division of Emergency Management is hoping the disastrous tornadoes that hit Reading and Joplin the past few days will prompt people to take steps to prepare for disaster. And as Bryan Thompson reports, having a cell phone may be as important as having a flashlight on hand.
