KCUR News Intern, Summer 2024Emma Flannery is the summer 2024 news intern at KCUR. She is a senior at the University of Missouri, majoring in journalism with an emphasis in writing and reporting. Her work includes reporting on unhoused communities, local government and politics, higher education and culture.
She has previously worked for the Columbia Missourian, the Freedom of the Press Foundation, Kansas City Magazine and Modern Luxury.
Outside of the newsroom, you can probably find Emma playing her guitar or browsing a local record store.
