Kansas Democratic Candidates For The Senate: Jim Slattery And Lee Jones

Kansas Republican Senator Pat Roberts is running for re-election to a third term in a state long viewed as a Republican stronghold yet, the Democrats have found some people willing to take on the challenge to unseat Roberts.

Up to Date host Steve Kraske talked with two of them to learn where they stand on issues of concern to voters. First, Jim Slattery, the former Kansas State Representative and U.S. Representative with his eye set on returning to Capitol Hill. Then Lee Jones explains why he wants to move from business to politics in his first run for public office.
