Kiana Fernandes
Classical KC InternKiana Fernandes is an intern for Classical KC. She will begin her senior year at the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia this fall. Kiana is a member of the Mizzou clarinet studio and participates in ensembles when she can.
As a Kansas City native, she loves having the opportunity to interact with her hometown's music scene through the station's work. In her free time, you can find Kiana at various local parks or at home reading and hanging out with her dog, Bailey. She highly recommends walking around the Parkville Nature Sanctuary while listening to Hozier or Florence and the Machine.
