Why The Johnson County Health Department Did Not Recommend In-Person Classes

Despite warnings from health departments to not have children come back to school buildings, some parents are pushing for their districts to do just that.

Even as the number of new known cases shows no decline, some residents are arguing for their children to attend their brick-and-mortar schools.

Health officials have recommended that schools not have students in classrooms this fall, but not all districts are following the advice.
