Economists and education experts suggest students think very strategically about how their educational path will connect with a job down the line. Given that more than 30 percent of people looking for employment have bachelor degrees, you can't count on a undergraduate degree alone to open doors. Today, we learned about the bevy of options awaiting high school graduates in Kansas, and the calculus they have to consider when deciding if a university degree is worth the tuition cost.

Kansas City native Michael Watson has done many incredible things throughout his career — both on and off the court. "I've always had a calling to do the things of God," Watson says, and, after playing in the NBA and overseas that calling, caused him to hang up his shoes and return home. Today, we learned about the work he's been doing since, including time at the Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and his own nonprofit youth sports organization, Mentality.
