  • Linda Quinley, chief financial officer for Kansas City Public Schools
  • Mike Reynolds, chief of research and assessment for Kansas City Public Schools

Segment 2, beginning at 20:14: Kansas City's former first lady relives her time at City Hall.

Gloria Squitiro endured criticism and controversy during her husband's four years as mayor, and her three-part memoir promises to parse through it. She discussed the lead-up to Mark Funkhauser's successful mayoral bid and how her role in the campaign office came about.

Gloria Squitiro will sign copies of her book from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, May 18 at Barnes and Noble, 4751 W. 117th St., Leawood, Kansas 66211. For more information, go to GloriaSquitiro.com.
