Adventuring In The Dark

Tom Sullivan can hear is the sound of snowflakes falling, even though he can't see the white blanket they form over the land.

In the second part of Tuesday's Up to Date, Steve Kraske talks with the award-winning actor, musician, composer and producer about his life.

HEAR MORE: "Adventures in Darkness," an evening with Tom Sullivan, starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Nelson-Atkins Museum. The show is free, but please call the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired to reserve your spot at (816) 841-2284.

When I host Up To Date each morning at 9, my aim is to engage the community in conversations about the Kansas City area’s challenges, hopes and opportunities. I try to ask the questions that listeners want answered about the day’s most pressing issues and provide a place for residents to engage directly with newsmakers. Reach me at steve@kcur.org or on Twitter @stevekraske.
