Missouri House Bill 1554 would legalize medical cannabis for a small number of patients, including adults with a terminal illness who have considered all other treatments currently approved by the FDA and all relevant clinical trials in Missouri.

Segment 1: What science does (and doesn't) know about medical marijuana.

Missouri and Kansas are edging closer to legalizing medical marijuana under limited circumstances, but what do we really know about its health effects? While state lawmakers debate possible harms or benefits of cannabis and its derivatives, we spoke with a scientist who helped write a major study about the good, bad and unknown health effects of marijuana.

As the NFL Draft comes to a close, we heard analysis from two local sports writers who say the Chiefs did OK, but not great. We also asked them which sports leagues they think do the best job of staying relevant and keeping fans engaged through the off-season.
