Brad Evans signed to Sporting KC in February 2018.

Segment 1: Democrats now only hold one statewide seat in Missouri — the state auditor.

While Democratic candidates made up ground last week in states like Arizona, Nevada, and even Kansas, they still are at a disadvantage in Missouri. Sen. Claire McCaskill's defeat shows that most rural areas believe the Republican Party is what the state needs moving forward. Today, we discussed what the Democrats can do to claw their way back to power in the Show-Me State.

Segment 2, beginning at 24:48: A tough win against Real Salt Lake guarantees a home playoff game at Children's Mercy Park.

It's been five years since Sporting KC had a playoff game at Children's Mercy Park. That streak ended Sunday, with an MLS Cup win against Real Salt Lake. At the end of the month, the team will face Portland in a two-game conference final. Today, we heard from midfielder Brad Evans, who shared his expectations for the season, and explained how Sporting soccer differs from teams in other countries.
