KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Kansas City pastor has been removed from his ministry amid allegations of sexual misconduct with minors.

Emergency flood preparations are ramping up along the Missouri river. Sandbags are being filled along the river north of Kansas City to the Iowa state line.

Missouri's tax collections continue to be a mix of good and bad news.

Many Kansas lawmakers left the Statehouse this week with mixed emotions. House and Senate leaders struggled to come to a budget agreement in the face of a half-billion dollar deficit.

The unemployment figures for April have been released, and the number of people working in the state of Kansas is not holding pace with the national average.
