By Delores Jones and Sylvia Maria Gross

Kansas City, MO – Visit the hat shop of local milliner Lessie McClendon, who has been crafting one-of-a-kind hats for almost 50 years. And the Unicorn Theatre presents Crowns, a play about African American women and hats. Kauffman Scholars, Inc. follows students from middle school all the way through college. Waiters from Crossroads coffee shop YJ's travel together to Chiapas, Mexico. Central High School sophomore Matheno Frazier-Bey talks about losing a best friend. An update on the Voter ID bill in Missouri, and a conversation on the new movie The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
