Brooks and Funkhouser Advance in Mayor's Race

KCUR?s Frank Morris went to the Funkhouser victory party last night in Westport, and has this report.

Kansas City, MO – Kansas City Mayor Pro Tem Alvin Brooks, and former City Auditor Mark Funkhouser have emerged from a 12 person primary to square off in the general election for Mayor. The two nearly tied. Both were in the 26 percent range, with Brooks coming out 331 votes ahead of Funkhouser.
