The Missouri House has passed legislation that would provide tax breaks to Canada's Bombardier. The bill would provide up to 240 million dollars in tax credits to build an aircraft factory at Kansas City International Airport. The bill now goes to Governor Blunt.A Kansas City federal jury is deliberating the first stage of the death penalty trial of two Kansas City men accused of killing a black man because he walked through their neighborhood. An economic stimulus bill including two coal-fired power plants in Kansas is on its way to Governor Sebelius. The bill does not qualify for line-item vetoes.
