Musical Theatre with Greek Roots Premieres in Lawrence

This week, the University of Kansas theater department in Lawrence premieres a new musical, The Girl, The Grouch and The Goat: A Modern Fable, that includes the Tony Award-winning composer of "Urinetown." By Steve Walker

Kansas City, MO – As KCUR's Steve Walker reports, the musical has roots that stretch backward from last summer's festival of new musicals in Kansas City to ancient Greece. The Girl, The Grouch and The Goat: A Modern Fable by Jack Helbig & Mark Hollmann Directed by John Staniunas July 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and August 27, 28, 29, 2008 Stage Too! on the campus of the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
