  • As Congress continues to try to find a comprmise on a bailout for the nation's troubled financial industry, the Department of Housing and Urban Development announces more than $ 7 million in funding to help stabilize Kansas City, Missouri neighborhoods plagued by foreclosures and sub-prime mortgages.
  • Despite the threat of litigation, Kansas Speedway and the Cordish Company are moving forward with their plans for the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Wyandotte County.
  • The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board announced today that it has chosen Butler National of Olathe to build and operate a casino in Dodge City.
