As Congress continues to try to find a comprmise on a bailout for the nation's troubled financial industry, the Department of Housing and Urban Development announces more than $ 7 million in funding to help stabilize Kansas City, Missouri neighborhoods plagued by foreclosures and sub-prime mortgages.Despite the threat of litigation, Kansas Speedway and the Cordish Company are moving forward with their plans for the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Wyandotte County.The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board announced today that it has chosen Butler National of Olathe to build and operate a casino in Dodge City.
