Incumbent Johnson County Commissioner John Toplikar lost to challenger Calvin Hayden.The Kansas House race that was dependent on provisional ballot counts was won by Democrat Gene Rardin.The outcome of the presidential race in Missouri is also dependent on provisional ballots, which are to be counted by November 18.A study by two University of Kansas researchers says climate change poses significant risks for Kansas over the next century.Today is Veteran's Day.
