Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg: New Kansas Poet Laureate

Lawrence, KS – The state of Kansas has chosen a new poet laureate. On July 1, 2009, Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg began her two-year term in the position.

KPR's Laura Lorson talked with her about the job, and her plans for her coming term as the state's primary ambassador for poetry and writing.
