Kansas City, MO – Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson tried to shift the conversation at the NAACP convention yesterday away from alleged racism in the Tea Party movement.
The federal government gave final approval yesterday to Missouri's new high risk insurance pool. The decision means a new coverage option is now available for Missourians with pre-existing conditions.
Sunday's storm caused serious damage in the Hickman Mills-Ruskin Heights area. Councilman John Sharp, who serves that area, says some residents were without power for three days.
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has signed and vetoed several bills yesterday.
Governor Nixon plans to sign a bill from the recent special session today. It gives incentives to Ford for its Claycomo plant if they improve the factory or expand product lines.
