Kansas City, MO – As a city audit continues and amid credible reports of an FBI investigation into Port Authority contracting procedures, the agency's chair has now resigned from its board.

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has released 7-and-a-half million dollars for public school busing that he had earlier withheld due to budget troubles.

Missouri's college loan authority has set aside about $30 million to offset part of Governor Nixon's cut in the Access Missouri scholarships next school year.

Another guilty plea in the University of Kansas ticket scandal, this time the former head of the ticket office.

The UMKC men's basketball team held on for a 71-67 win over Centenary last night.
