KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thousands of students in Kansas City will have fewer options to light up when they head back to class this semester. Starting today, Metropolitan Community College, or MCC, is going completely tobacco free.

A Missouri House committee looking at how state and local officials responded to several natural disasters this year is recommending a special session to deal with storm costs.

A federal court in Wichita today is taking up a Planned Parenthood lawsuit over the state's redistribution of federal family planning funds.
