Kansas City, MO – Thousands of people gathered at Ilus Davis Park in Kansas City Missouri last Monday evening to make their voices heard on the national immigration debate. The protest coincided with work stoppages and protests in Lawrence, Wichita, Topeka and Garden City, as well as around the country. Most of the people rallying are Latino, but they've sparked discussions in many communities. KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross talked to people at the rally, and others from around Kansas City about possible changes in immigration law nationally and locally.
