Google Inc. announced Wednesday that it would begin recruiting small businesses in Kansas City to test its Google Fiber product.
The Kansas City Business Journal reports after nearly two years of asking Kansas City companies to "hang in there," Google is ready to launch the pilot.
In the coming months, Google will roll out Google Fiber to a limited number of small businesses. The business will test the product and give feedback.
Interested parties must fill out a questionnaire by April 25. It will be available to any small business in Kansas City and is not restricted to Google Fiber customers.
