Kansas Senate Approves Gun Safety Curriculum For Public Schools

The Kansas State Senate recently approved several bills extending the rights of gun owners in the state. Some of the provisions go beyond the right to carry.

This could bring the NRA’s ‘Eddie Eagle’ program to public school curriculum in the state, implementing gun safety training for K-12 students. A member of the Kansas State Senate and a reporter explain the ins and outs of the legislation.
